Inaugural Indy Car Series in Baltimore

There was one thing that I was not about to miss with this race weekend...the car concourse. Here are just a couple of the beautiful cars. With a backdrop of unappealing concrete slabs I was unable to do full car shots as I had hoped. Bringing me back to the glorious ages of 8-14 with my father, these cars bring memories and leave us all a little in awe. I hope that you can enjoy these pictures as much as I did taking them.

"The '57 Corvette"

"The Cooling Station"

  1. The snake is just cool looking and I think you owe a lot of credit to these stunning, shiny cars - they did a lot of work for you!

I did not like the blue Ferrari picture, but it does look great against a black background.

I love the Lamborghini and the '57 Corvette, the angle is so flattering.

The Cooling Station is my favorite. This kid was having a blast. His pants and falling down but he doesn't care, he is loving life too much to notice. The water looks great. It is busy, which is different for you and the orange hydrant has an impressive and demanding color. The kid in the back pointing so fiercely is also great. You captured a perfect summer moment!

  2. My favorites here are the 57 corvette and the yellow car. I'm a sucker for those close up perspective shots.

The two logo close ups are uninteresting to me.

I like the moment captured in the cooling station one, but the lack of balance bugs me. The picture is very heavy on the right and empty on the left (the viewer's right and left). Being unbalanced is okay if it serves a purpose, but I don't think this one does.
